Convicted of second-degree murder at age 17, best-selling author Shaka Senghor served 19 years in the Michigan prison system. His memoir, Writing My Wrongs, is a redemption story of what it’s like to grow up in the gravitational pull of poverty and violence, and then overcome it. This presentation will focus on breaking the link between being victimized and becoming a victimizer. Books will be available for sale and signing.
