Help nurture our Poet-tree during National Poetry Month! There will be poems for the picking, and we encourage you to submit a poem for someone else to enjoy. All participants who leave a poem will be entered into a raffle for a gift card to Daily Scoop in Mason.

It’s the third year of the seed library! The 2024 One Seed, One State selection is Mammoth Long Island Dill. Stop by the Seed Library (located inside the Dansville Library) to select flower, herb and vegetable seeds for your garden, along with planting instructions and a chance to enter into a raffle for a gardening gift pail.

CADL is partnering with LIfeboat to bring recovery resources to patrons who might be struggling with substance use disorder. Through one-on-one conversations, they will identify possible barriers and provide local resources, including inpatient rehab, outpatient treatment, or therapy and employment. Drop in and find out more about the resources Lifeboat offers.

Stop by the library to celebrate Earth Week. We will make upcycled bookmarks, an upcycled planter and collage artwork that celebrates caring for the earth. Materials are provided, while supplies last.

In November 2022, Michigan voters passed Proposal 2, which amends the Michigan State Constitution to include new and improved voting rights. Volunteers from the League of Women Voters will present information on the newly implemented nine days of early voting, the permanent absentee voter list, and other enhancements to the voting process.
