We are proud to partner with Volunteers of America to provide personal care items for homeless veterans in our area. Between June 9-July 14, bring your donations to these branches during our open hours: Aurelius, Downtown Lansing, Foster, Holt-Delhi, Leslie, Mason, South Lansing, Stockbridge and Williamston.  Suggested items include: Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, razors, soap/shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, washcloths, socks and combs. CADL is proud to host this gifted performer at the Juneteenth Celebration in downtown Lansing. Rev. Jones will appear as American folk music pioneer Huddie Leadbetter, better known as Lead Belly. An iconic songwriter and social activist, Lead Belly wrote classics such as “Midnight Special” and “Goodnight, Irene,” and was a mentor to Woody Guthrie and Peter Seeger. Held in St. Joseph Park on W. Hillsdale.
